With more than 28 years of experience in property claims, investigations, and dispute resolution, Geoffrey Humphers has built a reputation for clarity, fairness, and results in some of the industry’s most challenging claim environments. His background spans large-loss adjusting, litigation support, appraisal, umpire services, mediation, and complex property claim consulting across residential, commercial, and institutional losses.

Throughout his career, Geoff has managed thousands of large-loss property claims and worked alongside policyholders, attorneys, insurers, contractors, and public entities to help bring difficult disputes toward resolution. He previously served as a Senior Large Loss Adjuster for Shelter Insurance, where he oversaw more than 3,700 claims across multiple states with zero adverse litigation outcomes and became a recognized leader in subrogation recovery.

As the founder of Bridgeview Public Insurance Adjusting and Bridgeview Consulting Service, Geoff recovered more than $27 million for insured clients, including a $13 million settlement for a public school district that initially received a substantially lower payment offer. His experience includes court-appointed and private-sector appraisal and umpire assignments, large-loss estimating, litigation support, and strategic consulting for complex property damage disputes.

Today, Geoff continues to serve in appraisal, mediation, consulting, and property loss case management roles with a focus on objective evaluation, professional integrity, and practical resolution. He is a Nationally Certified Mediator, a District Court appointed Partition Referee, and has completed more than 500 hours of insurance claims continuing education and technical training.
